Jessica is fuming over gossip blogger Perez Hilton’s claims she is ashamed of her Latin heritage.
Hilton has targeted the Mexican-American actress on his website, dubbing her Jessica ‘Don’t call me Latina’ Alba.
But Jessica insists Hilton is picking on her because she wouldn’t have her picture taken with him.
Alba says, “It was all because I wouldn’t take photos with him at a nightclub. It would probably be smart for me to hang out and kiss up to what’s his name, Perez.
“Of course I’m proud of my heritage. That’s all I know. I only know a Mexican-American upbringing.”

Your beautiful and what I’ve always seen of you a very nice person. Myself is biracial [black & white] and I have been teased on acting too white or not being “black enough”. Its crazy and I just let all that roll over my back because I’m going to stay true to myself and be me. I am now with an agency trying to become an actress and thru it all I know the most part is to just be me.
