Jessica Alba has signed on to star in the modern fable “An Invisible Sign of My Own” for director Marilyn Agrelo.
The plot follows a young woman who retreats from the world and is obsessed with numbers and math. Her life starts to change when she becomes a second-grade math teacher.
Variety reports the film is being financed by Silverwood Films and iDeal Partners Film Fund, and Agrelo is set to start shooting the film next month.
It is based on a screenplay by Pam Falk and Mike Ellis, and will be Agrelo’s first feature directing since 2005’s “Ballroom.”
