Jessica has according to reports been approached by Tamil filmmaker Soundarya Rajnikanth, daughter of the legendary Rajnikanth, to play murdered British teenager Scarlet Keeling in a Tamil movie to be called Goa, according to the grapevine. The movie is said to be based on the Scarlet murder case, which rocked Goa in 2008.
The movie is being produced by Soundarya in association with the Hollywood studio Warner Bros. It will be directed by Venkat Prabhu. Other leading ladies in contention for roles are top Tamil actress Sneha, and Genelia D’Souza, of Bollywood hit film Jaane Tu ya Jaane Na.
Reports say Jessica has asked for a bound script which has been sent to her through her manager.
The movie has Tamil actors Jai, Vaibhav, Premji Amaren and Arvind Akash in the lead.
