A source close to Jessica has revealed the reason she and Cash suddenly married in a quickie ceremony in Beverly Hills on Monday.

Alba’s friend told People.com that the couple wanted to marry before their baby is born next month. “She used to feel it would be okay to wait until after the baby was born to get married. But her traditional side must have really kicked in,” the source says.

Alba’s father also spoke out about the wedding in a statement to Latina magazine: “I think it’s good news for her. I’m glad for her. She’s a beautiful girl. I’m her dad and I’m happy for her no matter what happens.”

Say hello to Mr. and Mrs. Cash Warren. To everyone’s surprise (well, they were engaged, but still!) Jessica Alba married Cash on Monday in Beverly Hills. Alba’s rep, Brad Cafarelli, has confirmed the happy news. A huge congratulations to the happy couple - May you live a long and happy life together! A little info about the wedding:

According to a source, they were married in the Beverly Hills courthouse’s ceremony room under an arch of green silk foliage and white flowers. They were casually dressed, with Alba wearing a long blue dress and her hair back in a ponytail.

“She looked happy but nervous,” the source says.

Jessica is on the cover of the new issue of Fit Pregnancy and she looks beautiful - Proudly showing off her belly. In the article Jessica talks about, of course, her pregnancy, how she will be as a mother, how Cash will be as a father and about her upcoming movie The Love Guru. Read some excerpts below:

On her pregnancy: “At the end of the day I am so tired I can’t function or speak and my eyes glaze over, but this pregnancy has seriously mellowed me out, which is nice. I’ve been going, going, going for so long, it feels nice not to take things so seriously.”

On whether she is having any cravings or aversions: “I suddenly love citrus stuff, oranges and lemonade; I can’t get enough of it, and I didn’t really care for any of that before. And I can’t deal with things that are too pungent. I used to love truffles; now I can’t. I also have a hard time eating a big steak.”

Jessica went shopping with her mom at Bed, Bath and Beyond a couple of days ago. They also stopped by Baja Fresh for some refreshments. Jessica’s dogs went MIA the other day, according to E!’s Marc Malkin. They have been found and are now at home with Jess, but here’s what went down:

A Beverly Hills couple found two dogs loose in their neighborhood while they were out walking their own pooch. Realizing the owners were nowhere in sight, they brought the dogs home and called the number on their tags.

Well, guess who answered the phone? Alba’s fiancé, Cash Warren! Warren explained to them that the dogs belonged to Alba and that she would come by to pick them up pronto, a source reports.

Jessica insists her pregnancy was no accident because she and fiance Cash Warren failed to practice safe sex.

Alba, who is expected to give birth to her first child next month, never predicted she would be pregnant at the age of 27, but she openly admits she wasn’t being “careful” with contraception.
