Jessica Alba has signed on to star in the modern fable “An Invisible Sign of My Own” for director Marilyn Agrelo.

The plot follows a young woman who retreats from the world and is obsessed with numbers and math. Her life starts to change when she becomes a second-grade math teacher.

September 8, 2008: On a boiling hot California day, Jessica was seen getting a cold drink at Kaffee Wien.

September 7, 2008: Jessica and her family are seen leaving Toast, after buying some refreshments, in West Hollywood. Everyone is staring at her, that must be so uncomfortable.

September 6, 2008: More pictures have been added of Jessica, her husband and daughter, out running errands earlier this month. Following some shopping and Target, Jessica sat in the car with Honor on her lap and gave her a big kiss. It’s such a cute picture!

Hey guys,

I wanted to check in to tell you about a trip I took recently to Denver for the Democratic National Convention. In two words: eye-opening. You see, traditionally I haven’t been that politically active but for a variety of reasons I find myself being compelled to participate in this years election. Irrespective of your political affiliation you have to acknowledge the historical relevance of this years race…on both sides. A few months ago I was asked to participate in an online viral video for Barack Obama and I jumped at the opportunity.
